A unique combination of magnificent nature and close proximity to the city centre will be available in Augsburg in the future. The production site of J.N. Eberle & CIE. GmbH in Augsburg-Pfersee is to be transformed into a new sustainable and forward-looking urban residential quarter as part of the revitalisation process. While the area around the new neighbourhood used to be primarily a commercial location, a structural change has taken place here in recent decades with a clear focus on residential use.

Neighbourhood of short distances

A new residential and commercial quarter is being created on the former production site of the Eberle steel rolling factory as part of a comprehensive revitalisation project. Due to the structural changes of recent decades, the clear focus is on residential use around the emerging neighbourhood. The residential component will mainly consist of privately financed and subsidised flats (30 %) and will be supplemented by commercial uses. New office space can be created both in the listed brick buildings and in the new building.

Marketing starts in the fourth quarter of 2024. The neighbourhood will have a comprehensive infrastructure that includes all the facilities and amenities of daily life and will be within easy walking distance. From shopping facilities for everyday needs and dining options to educational facilities (daycare centre) and leisure facilities, everything will be available to offer residents a comfortable and sustainable living environment.
