New mixed-use quarter with a residential focus

Revitalisation of this former production site for the Eberle steel rolling mill in Augsburg-Pfersee will transform it into a new living and commercial quarter. Though the area around the newly developed quarter was primarily an industrial location in the past, a structural shift has taken place here over recent decades with a clear focus on residential use.

The emphasis of LIA Living will be on residential usage. This is also a priority for the city of Augsburg. The quarter comprises private sale apartments as well as privately funded and 30% subsidised rental apartment construction and will be supplemented with commercial usages. New office units will have room to develop in the listed brick buildings as well as the new development, covering a maximum 10% share of the space.
